A:
The scale ratio represents the size of a model in comparing to its real life counterpart. For example, a 1:4 scale toy car means 4 toy cars (lined up in a row) equal to the length of a real car.
Q:
What does 40 or 27 MHz frequency mean?
A:
It refers to the channel frequency on a radio/remote controller for RC products. For example, if you have 2 RC cars with the same frequency, the transmitters will get confused if you try to run both of them at a close radius. You will need 2 difference frequencies.
